Through a structured and supportive therapeutic environment, Manatee Palms Youth Services helps kids and families achieve their goals. Specializing in trauma-informed mental health, educational, and psychiatric services for at-risk children and adolescents ages 5-17, Manatee Palms is committed to providing the highest quality of care. Utilizing evidence-based interventions, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Manatee Palms strives to stay abreast of the most current treatment approaches to obtain the best outcomes for our families. The secure facility is situated on a beautifully manicured 9-acre campus with an on-site contract school with the latest in technology and educational services, outdoor swimming pool and playground for our younger children, indoor gymnasium and various other recreational amenities to keep our kids active and engaged.

  • Intensive Residential Treatment Facility (IRTF)
  • Contract Provider for Florida Medicaid/SIPP Program (Statewide Inpatient Psychiatric Program)
  • Additional Referral Sources/Contract Provider for residential services:
    1. Various out-of-state social services agencies and State Medicaid
    2. Florida DCF Provider
    3. Florida School Boards
    4. Managed Care – Tricare/Value Options, Aetna , BC/BS, CIGNA, Wellpoint and others by out-of-network provider letters
    5. Private Pay
  • Specialty populations include a children’s specific unit (ages 5-12), sexually reactive, and specialized programming for females.

(PSI) facility, recently partnered with the Louis de la Parte Florida Mental Health Institute (FMHI) at the University of South Florida (USF) on an initiative in Trauma Informed Care for patients in residential treatment settings.

Manatee Palms Youth Services Provides Summer Dog Show for Patients
Year round, Manatee Palms has long had a pet therapy program with its certified pet therapy dog named Nacho. Nacho is an English bulldog owned by Carlos Miranda, certified expressive therapist at Manatee Palms Youth Services.
